Student Success Stories

Heng Jiang

My name is Steve and I will be starting 3 courses at Insight Academy of Canada at the beginning of February. I have relocated from Regina, Saskatchewan and I am excited to earn my diploma from Ontario. I will be taking ENG4U, MFH4U and BBB4M. My interactions with the staff have been very friendly and I am excited to try these online courses with this school.

One of my hobbies is basketball. I am also interested in starting a basketball team with IAC. My role on the team will be Power Forward. If there are any students that have any questions about the team or if you are interested in joining, please contact IAC or email me directly at heng.jiang@gmail.com Once we get our team in place we will add some photos online.

Hopefully I will see you out on the basketball court!

Henry Mu

My name is Henry Mu and I am currently taking an online Grade 12 English course at the Insight Academy of Canada. I am also working with the school, completing a computer internship program, about 2-3 days per week after my own public school studies. I am excited to be a part of the IAC community as both a student and intern. I love the flexibility of the online course format as it allows me to complete things based around my unique schedule.
I have also started my own work within the bitcoin industry. The process is referred to as mining for bitcoin which has been a challenging but fun endeavour. Over the past two months I have been developing the software that is used to dig for bitcoin over the Internet. The business of bitcoin began in 2008 and was released to the public in 2009. One way that people get involved in this project is to set up your computer to mine for these bitcoins, however it does take quite some time to become successful. Read more.
